The huge Issac Glen Development is Dead. Issac Glen was a proposed development northwest of Milton. This development was bigger than Milton or Milford, the two closest towns by a factor of 2 or more. The County approved the project, the State rejected it because it was in an area where no infrastructure was planned. The Developer pulled the plug this week after working on it for several years, saying that the economic climate was wrong. The State is Happy, the County asserted itself and is Happy. Environmentalists are Happy, Land Rights groups are Happy. Everyone is Happy. Quite interesting for a failed project in the wrong place. I hope the Blackwater Project in Delmar also makes everyone Happy.
