After many delays, The Nanticoke Watershed Alliance released the River's 2009 condition report. The overall report gave the River a B-. The problem appears to be the creeks that feed the river only got a C+. Poorer quality water from the tributaries will only degrade Nanticoke over time. This report goes a long way to help understand the River. The Nanticoke is the best on the Delmarva Peninsula.

The Fall Classic
BASEBALL
It is that time of year again! Every year I enjoy the World Series. None of my teams made it this year, but the game is the game. While watching teams I don't watch often, I notice the little things that annoy me.
Number 1: Why does everyone spit. My mother would whack me beside the head, if I did that. Most of these guys are chewing gum not tobacco. It is really bad manners, where did these people grow up. And don't they know that they are on national TV and our kids emulate these guys.
Number 2 Ban batting gloves! Everyone who wears them has to re-adjust them after every pitch. A half an hour could be saved every game.
Number 3: Start the games @7PM EST for night games and play weekend games during the day.
